Kargil Vijay Diwas is an auspicious occasion to honor the brave Indian Soldiers who fought with pride.

Taking you down memory lane, on 3rd May 1999, numerous armed Pakistani Terrorists and Troopers were watched by local shepherds in Kargil. In response, Indian Army Jawans were sent to fight the infiltration from Pakistan. Unfortunately, five Indian Army Jawans were put to rest by the Pakistani Troops.

During Mid May 1999, the Indian army launched “Operation Vijay” to stop the Pakistani Army's consistent infiltration. On 26th July 1999, the Kargil War ended, ending a 2-month war between India and Pakistan. As per the numbers, India lost 527 soldiers with a strength of approx 30,000 jawans.
